OUR PHILOSOPHY: THE RITUAL OF WRAPPINGSwaddling is an eons-old practice of gently wrapping babies in soft, lightweight fabrics such as muslin to offer comfort, a sense of security and rest. Swaaga Swaddle® is a modern interpretation of this longstanding tradition.
Our philosophy is simple. A return to the ritual of wrapping baby. An opportunity for connection, presence and calm, for both mother and baby.
A small yet meaningful ritual that honours a baby's need for connection and care, while recognising the mother's own experience. Her adjustment, her developing confidence, her capacity to observe, interpret and respond. Her evolving sense of identity and the importance of trusting herself as she gets to know her baby.
These experiences unfold together, each contributing to the developing relationship between mother and baby.
Designed for the earliest days.
Swaaga Swaddle® was created specifically for the newborn period (0-1 month), from birth to four weeks, with consideration given to a baby's natural positioning and movement.
Made from soft, lightweight muslin, its original design allows each arm to be wrapped individually, allowing the hands to rest naturally at the chest or chin to promote self-soothing.
A considered wrapping sequence brings these elements together, offering a gentle and supportive wrap that may help settle a newborn during the early weeks.
